A Wealth of Nations Essay Topics Lesson Plan
A Wealth of Nations Essay Topics Lesson PlanThe Wealth of Nations is a great book for high school or college students. The reading level is extremely easy to handle for adults and even children. In the course of just ten days of studying the book, students will learn what makes America exceptional in the world. Learning to appreciate American values will also help them appreciate the freedom of speech, open and free markets, and entrepreneurship. Before I teach my students how to read the book, I will provide them with a War History lesson. This is not an easy read but it is very interesting. We will discuss the beginning of the Civil War and how Americans lost it, as well as that the South was entitled to their rights. How the country then moved forward was due to the Constitution, free market capitalism, and more. American values are founded on the idea of honoring one another and protecting the rights of others. After learning the history of the Civil War, students can begin to read the second part of the book, The Era of Reconstruction. This portion is about civil rights in the South. Reconstruction has been a controversial time in our history. It also includes the end of slavery and the freeing of the slaves and its impact on the states. In the third part of the book, students will take on the Wealth of Nations essay topics. In this section, students will examine what makes America special and how it got to be this way. Then they will discuss what this means for them personally. We will look at the need for strong leadership, how individualism shaped America, and the concept of liberty. In the fourth and final part of the book, students will continue to study the history of the United States and the history of the Civil War.Students should be able to read and understand the English language with a fairly easy level of understanding. However, some students may find this too difficult. For these students, they should study the notes for their essays and have a better understanding of what they are trying to accomplish. Reading is an important part of every class in the school, including history. Before students begin to study the Wealth of Nations, they should read the Foreword. It provides students with a variety of resources to study and learn. This book is not something to be taken lightly because it will give them a better understanding of America and the American dream. The Wealth of Nations is a wonderful book for college students to help them better understand the American values that we have for our country. It is not easy to read and understand but students should be able to grasp the concepts. These topics are quite complicated and students should h ave a good understanding before they begin.
